Homestead participants are in need of donations!
When folks are referred to our program, they often have no belongings. We need:
Used Cellphones: So folks can access public wifi and utilize apps like WhatsApp to contact us, family, potential landlords, etc. Can you imagine trying to find housing without the means to contact anyone?
Gift Cards: We are seeing an increase in family referrals who are finding it especially hard to afford groceries. Even a $5 Tim’s card could make a dramatic difference in someone’s day.
Air Mattresses: We ask for air beds/mattresses as we don’t have the means to store full beds. We will not move folks into their new homes without something to sleep on! Air Mattresses help us get folks into their new homes faster while we work on sourcing a full bed set.
